He is currently working with Ashlyn Krueger, ranked #40 in the world. Together they have reached the quarter finals of the Brisbane international WTA, a quarter finals at the Adelaide International and the finals of The Abu Dhabi Open. From 2012 to 2017 Joyce worked with American tennis player Jessica Pegula. Under his guidance, Pegula achieved a career-high singles ranking of 123 and a doubles ranking of 92.

In 2017, Joyce spent eight months coaching former world No. 1 Victoria Azarenka as she made her return to competition following maternity leave.
